![]() ![]() Although Michael and Michelle live in Palm Beach, they decided to make their day extra special by choosing one of the most spectacular landmarks here in South Florida. The Villa Vizcaya in Miami was built in the early 1900′s by industrialist James Deering and still today attracts thousands of visitors every year. The beautiful location mixed with the picture perfect summer afternoon made for a wonderful celebration!

It was lunch time and the two happened to sit next to each other on a park bench. Two years later they decided to exchange their vows in beautiful South Florida. We had the pleasure to photograph the ceremony and a really great party at The Red Fish Grill in Mattheson Hammock park.

That evening I happened to look through my grandparent’s honeymoon album from 1946. They had taken some photos as they waited for the train. The images of the trains stayed embedded in my mind. We immediately called Jen and asked her if she wanted to shoot at an old train yard in Miami. She loved the idea! Here are some of the images that we shot that Friday morning at the train yard.
